Derek Williams



I'm a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas under the direction of Dr. Wolfgang Bein.

My main research interest is computational game theory.

Previously I completed B.Sc. and M.Eng. degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Louisville where my research focus was hyperelliptic curve cryptography.

I used to be very involved in Wikipedia where I am an administrator and a list of my major contributions can be found here. I started the PlanetMath Exchange and am the author of the first anti-vandalism software.

I am a professional poker player and my poker blog can be found here. I make training videos for Daniel Negreanu's PokerVT.com and details on individual coaching from me can be found here.
